This is the post doctorate version.

We take Maker's original formula. Just a bit. This stuff is fine the way it is.
We put it in our cured kentucky oak barrel.
(miniature version crafted from the big ones)
We swirl it around...
Make sure we cover...
the entire inner surface...
...that about does it.
We are now ready to start our experiment.

Let's start with Knob Creek.

There goes the first dose.
Inti the barrel it goes
Now we take a little Maker's 46.
That stuff is also nice as is, but is going to get better in there.
...Into the barrell the 46 goes
Now we grab some Kentucky Marsh Whiskey...
Yeap you guessed it, that was Jack Daniel's original No. 7 joining the bourbon party...
Another cup of Knob...

More...
More Knob Creek...
Wait! -- Let's Maker's... this time not to seep into the barrel, but for good measure.
Yeap only half a measure...
Look at the color of that stuff...
Can you just smell it...
taste it perhaps?
We fetch the Knob Creek again...

And again until the Creek is dried...
All gone!
The little barrel is now full.
Jorge's stash can now start aging.
This is a genuine Kentucky Bluegrass Oak barrel. Thanks to its tiny size it ages liquor at several times the speed of a large one.
It's all about volume and surface area.
Mind your geometry folks... (you should had paid more attention!)...
It's faster than the giant barrels.
But let's take the first taste..

Tasting wise, we rinse and repeat regularly
